SafeBallot Represents USD at the Fowler Global Social Innovation Finals
SafeBallot represented the University of San Diego at the Fowler Global Social Innovation Challenge, competing alongside student-led ventures from the United States, Europe, and Africa.
Elijah Johnson, Donatella Falcomer, Thomas Salazar, and Cordano Russell presented the company's vision for using blockchain-supported technology to protect voting, strengthen confidence, and empower participation. The team approached the competition as both a business opportunity and a chance to discuss election integrity on a global stage.
The experience expanded SafeBallot's network and demonstrated that the need for secure, transparent decision-making is not limited to one community or country. It also marked an important step in the team's evolution from a campus concept to an internationally presented venture.
