SafeBallot Finishes as Second Runner-Up in the Fowler Business Concept Challenge
SafeBallot finished as second runner-up in the 2024 Fowler Business Concept Challenge after competing against more than 50 student teams. The result earned the company a share of the competition's scholarship funding and provided its first major institutional recognition.
Elijah Johnson led the presentation of SafeBallot's blockchain-based voting concept with Donatella Falcomer and Cordano Russell. The team framed the platform as a response to the need for greater transparency, trust, accessibility, and security in voting systems.
The milestone validated the company's early direction and gave the founders experience presenting to entrepreneurs, mentors, and business leaders. It also strengthened their conviction that SafeBallot could grow beyond a competition entry into a broader movement for trusted digital decision-making.
