San Diego Cities Unite Through The Playbook Project

Community leaders across San Diego County supported The Playbook Project by connecting local families and seniors with food-distribution locations.

In San Marcos, Councilmember Danielle LeBlang highlighted a City Hall distribution organized with The Playbook Project and the San Diego Food Bank. The local partnership helped provide meals to elementary-school families and older residents while linking the city to the broader countywide effort.

Similar collaborations across the region allowed the project to reach all 18 cities. Schools, local officials, volunteers, businesses, churches, athletes, and community organizations each contributed the local knowledge and relationships needed to turn one shared mission into coordinated service.
