SafeBallot Completes a Civic Leadership Election at Encanto Elementary

SafeBallot helped Encanto Elementary School students complete a hands-on civic leadership election involving more than 100 participants.

Over the course of the program, students experienced campaigning, public speaking, voting, results, and a winning-class celebration. The digital mock election made the basic mechanics of democracy understandable by giving students an active role at every stage.

The winning class received a pizza party, but the event's lasting value was educational. Students learned that leadership involves communicating ideas, listening to others, participating responsibly, and accepting a transparent result.
