San Diego FC Selects SafeBallot for a Man of the Match Voting Pilot

San Diego FC agreed to pilot SafeBallot as a fan-voting platform for selecting the club's Man of the Match. The opportunity began when Elijah and Donatella Johnson encountered the club's chief operating officer while leaving a match at Snapdragon Stadium and quickly pitched the concept.

The pilot gave SafeBallot an opportunity to test its voting engine in a live, public-facing environment. Early use generated practical lessons that helped the team strengthen the product and showed that the platform could support more than traditional civic elections.
